A collaborative relationship means that our members can contact their provider directly for urgent or emergent issues outside of regular office hours via our patient portal. Please be aware that responses may take up to 48 hours.

At Chef Wellness Clinic, all your care is delivered by board-certified nurse practitioners. Nurse practitioners have the capability to diagnose acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and offer treatment for common health issues.

Furthermore, nurse practitioners excel in health education and preventive care, prioritizing the overall well-being of individuals rather than solely concentrating on the disease process without considering the broader context.

Chef Wellness Clinic does not participate in insurance plans. The exceptional level of care offered by Chef  Wellness  Clinic is beyond what is achievable within the typical insurance-based care system. If you have insurance, it can be utilized to cover the costs of medications, laboratory tests, and radiology services prescribed by a Chef Wellness Clinic provider.

We strongly advise all individuals to have insurance or health sharing coverage in place. While Chef Wellness Clinic provide quality care, it is not a replacement for insurance. We recommend carrying a health sharing plan or a high deductible/major medical plan with a health savings account to ensure financial assistance in case of hospitalization or specialist referrals, while also taking advantage of our discounted prices for overall savings. It is important to consult with your insurance provider to find a plan that aligns with our medical model and meets your specific needs.

If necessary, we will direct you to the appropriate hospital or specialist for specialized care. Depending on the complexity of your condition and the expertise needed, we may enlist the help of these specialized caregivers to oversee your treatment.

No, we are currently only seeing patients 18 years of age and older.

Just like traditional insurance companies, we at Chef Wellness Clinic work for you. Therefore, your monthly membership fee or any of our service fee cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement. You may be required to sign a waiver stating that neither you nor Chef Wellness Clinic  will directly bill Medicare for your fees with our practice. However, you can still utilize Medicare for specialists, labs, medications, and services outside of our practice.

Medicare and Medicare supplemental insurance will continue to cover medical expenses incurred outside of Chef Wellness Clinic. This includes prescriptions filled at an external pharmacy, labs conducted at an outside facility, hospital charges, physical therapy, x-rays, and scans, among other services. Your Medicare coverage for other medical needs remains intact even if you are a patient at Chef Wellness Clinic.
